Applying on SAP SuccessFactors: autofill and statuses
Some employers put their SAP SuccessFactors form behind a sign-in; others let you register and apply on one page. Here's what Trabalero fills there, what it leaves for you, and who can tell you where your application stands.

SuccessFactors autofill: what fills, and what's yours for now
On the one posting we measured, Autofill filled 78% of the fields our test profile could answer: first page, one press, AI answers off, nothing submitted. Last tested 19 September 2026. How we test →
What fills from your profile
- Your email, in both email boxes.
- Your legal first and last name, and your phone number.
- The country you're applying from.
- Short dropdowns, such as Yes/No questions, set only when the site confirms the choice.
Left for you, unless you choose otherwise
- Consent questions stay unanswered, marked "review manually". On the form we tested none was a single routine box, so they stay with you even with Consent boxes turned on in Settings.
- Sensitive questions, such as disability, stay blank unless you've chosen to save your own answers in your account settings, and those answers are never sent to AI. On the form we tested they opened only after the consent question above them, which is yours. We haven't checked these on SAP SuccessFactors yet, so look them over yourself. Sensitive questions: your call →
- Password boxes. Trabalero doesn't create accounts or fill password boxes.
Fill these by hand for now
- Your phone number. On the form we tested, the number box kept your full international number beside a code dropdown that already shows the code. Check it before you submit.
- Work authorisation, when your saved answer names other countries.
- Long dropdowns, such as country of residence. We leave these to you on SAP SuccessFactors.
Not checked yet: dates, work history and education, and CV and cover-letter uploads. Look these over yourself.
You press Submit. Autofill never sends an application.
AI drafts it. You review it.
SAP SuccessFactors application status meanings
Waiting to hear back is hard. Here's what we can tell you so far, and who can tell you more.
We haven't yet found SAP or an employer explaining SuccessFactors status labels publicly, so we won't guess what yours means. Each employer sets up its own career site, and the same word can mean different things at different employers.
Ask the employer: the recruiter or HR contact on the job posting or in your confirmation email can tell you what their label means.
Keep every status in one place
Trabalero's Applications tracker keeps every application in one list, whatever system it went through:
- applications you submit through the side panel are logged for you;
- you set each status yourself: Saved, Applied, Interviewing, Offer, Rejected or Withdrawn;
- a note holds the employer's exact wording, so it still makes sense next month.
The tracker needs a free account.
