A CV builder that starts from your profile

Trabalero's CV builder (or résumé builder, if that's your word for it) lays out the profile you already use for Autofill as a clean CV. Check it against a short checklist, tailor it to a job when it matters, and download it as PDF or DOCX. It needs a free account, because your CVs are saved to it.

Free to build and download, with a few AI tailorings to try.

You wrote it all down once. That should be enough.

No blank page

Sign up and Trabalero can read your existing CV straight into a new profile. Everything Autofill uses, the builder uses too: your header and links, a short summary, work history, education, skills and languages. Add sections for projects, certifications, awards, volunteering, or one of your own, and hide any section a role doesn't need.

Pick the Classic or Modern template, set the colours, and save up to three layouts of your own. The preview pages exactly as the PDF will. When it's right, Save as CV puts it in Documents, ready to download as PDF or DOCX. In the dashboard you'll find it under Resume Builder.

A checklist, not a verdict

The builder scores your CV out of 100 against checks you can see, and puts the ones worth a look first. Click a check and it takes you to the field that decides it.

  • Full name, headline, email, phone and location
  • A professional link: LinkedIn, a portfolio or GitHub
  • A summary of two or three sentences
  • At least one role, each with a title, a company and a start date
  • Every role describes what you did, with some substance
  • Education, with schools, degrees and dates
  • At least five skills
  • The languages you speak

It won't pretend to know how a hiring system will rank you. It will tell you the summary is missing.

Tailored to the job, without inventing anything

Paste a job posting and the AI reshapes your CV for that role: it reorders and rewrites your existing experience, skills and summary to put what matters for this job first, in the job's own language. It's instructed never to invent an employer, a date, a skill or an achievement. If you don't like the result, Undo AI edit puts your CV back.

Prefer to steer it yourself? AI edit takes an instruction in your own words, like "shorten the summary" or "lead with the logistics work".

You can also do it from the job page. With the posting open, press Tailor CV in the side panel. You'll see the tailored CV as a PDF, and you can attach it to the application or open it in the builder to edit.

A free account includes a few tailorings and AI edits; a pass adds more. See passes

Upload a CV to Documents and ask for Feedback: what works, and what to improve, specific to that CV. Or ask the AI to rewrite it. Feedback comes with a pass; a free account includes a few rewrites. Neither touches the original: a rewrite is saved as a new CV.

One profile for each kind of role

Applying for product roles and operations roles at the same time? Keep a profile for each. Every profile holds its own details, CVs and cover letters, and the side panel fills from whichever one is active. Switch before you press Autofill and the right CV goes with the right application. The tracker records which profile you used, so you can see later which version got replies.

A free account holds one profile; a pass holds more.

What to expect

  • It needs a free account. Your CVs live in it, so you can use them in the side panel and on any device.
  • Building and downloading are free. A free account includes a few tailorings, AI edits and rewrites; a pass adds more, and feedback.
  • Nothing renews. A pass lasts a set number of days, then simply ends.
  • Your CVs are yours. Export or delete everything from Settings whenever you like.
